This project was driven by a vision of "nature as art," utilizing Bookmatched Marble slabs to create striking, mirror-image focal points throughout the home.
The Art of the Bookmatch: Calacatta Gold & Afyon Sugar
The centerpiece of this project is the precision-engineered bookmatched wall coverings. By carefully cutting and aligning slabs, we created seamless, flowing patterns that act as natural murals:
- Calacatta Gold Marble: 60 m² of polished, bookmatched slabs were installed as statement wall art and as a high-impact backsplash behind the kitchen countertop. The gold and grey veining provides a warm, ultra-luxurious aesthetic.
- Afyon Sugar Marble: To bring a softer, ethereal glow to other wings of the mansion, we supplied 80 m² of bookmatched Afyon Sugar slabs, known for their crystalline depth and delicate veining.
Premium Flooring: Diana Royal Marble
For the expansive living areas, the client prioritized a sophisticated, matte look that complements the bold wall designs:
- Material: 280 m² of Diana Royal Marble.
- Format & Finish: 61x61x1.2 cm tiles with a Honed surface.
- Detailing: Custom-produced matching skirtings were crafted from the same Diana Royal blocks to ensure a perfectly seamless floor-to-wall transition.
Elegant Bathrooms and Functional Luxury
The luxury extends into the private quarters and functional spaces with curated material selections:
- Bianco Massa Marble: 70 m² of 60x60x2 cm tiles were used for bathroom wall cladding, offering a crisp, clean, and classic Italian marble look.
- Elsa Quartz: For high-utility areas, 75 m² of 2 cm Elsa Quartz slabs were expertly cut-to-size, providing a durable, non-porous surface that maintains the home's high-end aesthetic.
