The client selected the first-ever pieces of Leonardo/Pablo Vein Cut Travertine specifically for the villa’s facades. This material is celebrated for its distinctive linear patterns and rich, earthy tones, providing a sense of rhythmic movement across the building’s exterior.
Specialized Production for Grand Facades
To meet the ambitious design requirements of Project Golyan, Mekmar manufactured the travertine in multiple formats to ensure a dynamic and seamless application:
- Grand Format: 810 m² of 60x120x3 cm tiles. These large slabs provide a grand, monolithic look that is highly favored in Dubai’s luxury developments.
- Standard & Custom Formats: 70 m² of 30x60x3 cm and 50 m² of 45x60x3 cm tiles were produced to handle technical corners and architectural accents.
- Optimal Durability: At 3 cm thickness, these tiles offer the thermal resistance and structural integrity necessary for the high-temperature climate of the Middle East.

Managing over 900 m² of premium vein-cut travertine requires meticulous attention to color matching and structural quality. Mekmar’s production team handled every aspect of the project—from the initial quarry selection to the final delivery in Dubai—ensuring that every tile met the "Premium Selection" criteria.
